Canton Dog Park Temporary Fencing
Due to the continued flooding and “lake” that forms when it rains, temporary fencing has been installed inside the large dog side at the Friends of Canton Dog Park to keep dogs safe and healthy. The CCA is working with BCRP, DOT and DPW on options for repair, but it’s not an easy fix and may take some time. Thank you for your patience and for doing your best to follow these guidelines in the meantime.
• Large dogs should continue to use the Large Dog side of the park, but DOGS are NOT permitted inside the temporary fencing. (Pup parents, please be mindful and oversee your dogs so they remain is the safe section of the park. )
• Please do not bring large dogs (50 lbs+) into the SMALL DOG side of the park.
• DO NOT REMOVE THE ORANGE FENCING even on dry days as the lake will return when it rains and this is a safety and health concern.
For more info as we get it, please follow the Friends of Canton Dog Park Facebook page or email us anytime at info@CantonCommunity.org. Thank you for #GettingNeighborly!
