Our Mission
A bit of Background
The Canton Community Association was founded in 1998 by a group of proactive and passionate volunteers who wanted to nurture a sense of community among residents and businesses as well as serve as a voice for the neighborhood. We have a board of directors as well as various committees, and membership is open to anyone.
So, what are we aiming to do?
Promote and protect the beauty, safety, stability, and social and economic vitality of the neighborhood by building relationships with residents, businesses, and government officials.
Hold regular meetings to inform and engage our community.
Support community projects such as the Canton Dog Park and Dypski Park.
Keep the neighborhood clean and vibrant through efforts such as the O’Donnell Square Clean-up and the Canton Waterfront Clean-up.
Serve as a resource for residents and businesses.
Promote positive economic development.
