Coming Together

CCA President Mark Edelson joined forces with the Southeast Youth & Families Engagement Organization to distribute food boxes from the Maryland Food Bank. The event, held at the Banner Neighborhoods office, was organized by 2020 CCA Volunteer of the Year and SYFEO President, Tray Smith.

Others coming together on January 30 to help were Councilpersons, Zeke Cohen (1st) and Antonio Glover (13th), Brant Fisher (Brewer’s Hill Neighborhood Association), and members of the Banner Neighborhoods staff.

CCA Marketing Co-Chair Julie Kichline, of Kik-line Design, created the graphics and helped spread the word. Julie is a regular on “Team Tray” mentoring him in social media and business basics to help grow his organization and other projects, Tray & Company.

Community service is an integral goal of the Canton Community Association. Look for new events to follow in 2021, especially as COVID-19 restrictions lessen.

Thank you to Tray for bringing us all together. We appreciate the opportunity to collaborate and value his commitment to our community and this city. To support this promising young entrepreneur and community activist visit him at https://www.facebook.com/TrayandCompany or call 443.570.6318.
