One way to support our neighbors of color is to shop and dine at Black-owned businesses. Our friend Simone at Charm City Table has started a social media campaign asking people to share food photos in support of Baltimore City restaurants during Black History Month.

1.)    Order takeout or visit a Black-owned restaurant in Baltimore (We’d love it if you started in Canton.)

2.)    Post a photo on your social media (IG, FB or Twitter) using #BLKFOODBALTIMORE

3.)    Hashtag and you’ll automatically be entered to win giveaways from Baltimore’s Black-owned restaurants/food businesses.

Multiple posts = multiple entries. You can also leave a positive review on Google or Yelp in support of your favorite Black-owned restaurant. Screenshot the review and email charrmcitytable@gmail.com. The contest is valid February 1-28, but supporting business owners of color should be a daily action.
