Overhead Utility Issues? Let the CCA help.

Do you have utility poles around your home with inactive, loose, or potentially dangerous lines hanging from them?  Any old, unused, or possibly faulty equipment? The CCA wants to know!

The CCA is starting an initiative to motivate the utility companies to clean up Canton's overhead utilities but needs information on the "problem poles" first.  If you have a utility pole in front of your house, or in an alley, with any of these issues please provide us with your name, address, email, and explanation of the situation by completing this form.  We will pass along the information to the appropriate businesses (telephone, electric, cable, etc.) to see what can be done to get them cleaned up or removed.  We are starting this process with phone/internet lines as Verizon has asked us to give them a list of specific locations.

To report the location of a problem, fill out this form. Most utility poles have a metal tag with a number on it that tells BGE exactly where the pole is located. Please include this number if possible.

NOTE: The CCA is not the point of contact for problems with your service. We are merely trying to help facilitate the removal of non-functioning lines.
