CCA #CoronavirusBalt Resource List
/Neighbors, we are facing a serious health crisis, the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. As details are changing daily, hourly even, it’s hard for us all to keep up. So, here is a list of resources to access the latest information on a variety of topics related to this highly infectious disease.
To begin, the Canton Community Association is partnering with our elected officials, the Hatton Senior Center, Church on the Square, and other neighborhood organizations to aid our at-risk neighbors, especially our Seniors, during the period of time impacted by the COVID-19 virus.
We will be using our Block Captain Program to support the efforts of the Baltimore City Health Department and Councilman Zeke Cohen’s office in collecting and distributing food and supplies, as well as to disseminating important information throughout our community and to check in on the health and emotional wellbeing of our neighbors. We need your help. To sign up to be a Block Captain, please send your name, block, and email to info@cantoncommunity.org.
It is so important that we join together as a community to aid each other during these times of uncertainty. For continual updates, please follow us on Facebook and Instagram. Also, feel free to contact us with any thoughts, ideas, or concerns.
We’re in this together. And we will get through it together. We cannot thank you enough for your help during these difficult times.
– Mark Edelson, CCA President
