Dr. Shaina Gulin, licensed psychologist, has recently returned to her hometown of Baltimore and is excited to call Canton home. Using evidence-based psychotherapies, Shaina treats a wide variety of mental health conditions. She is currently accepting new clients.

Like many other communities around the country and around the world, the Canton community is grappling with our own tortured history of racism and slavery. We must face up to the fact that while Captain John O’Donnell, the founder of Canton, was a pioneer, entrepreneur, and innovator he was also a slave owner.

Retail stores like gift shops and clothing stores are now open at 50% capacity. Personal services establishments including salons, barbershops, spas, tanning salons, tattoo studios, and other aesthetic services are open by appointment only. Here are some newly opened shops in Canton.

Beginning Friday, July 3, O’Donnell Street (between Potomac and Linwood Avenues) will close on the weekends to allow for extended outdoor dining. Several restaurants circling O’Donnell Square Park will offer additional, physically -distanced outdoor table service in safe, designated areas in front of their establishments.
