ABOUT THE PARK
Named for the Hudson and Potomac rivers, Two Rivers Park is a charming pocket park located on the 900 block between S. Potomac and Hudson Streets. In 2003, Baltimore City considered selling the land to a developer who would have built houses on the site. The CCA, behind the then leadership of Block Captain Randy Capone, worked together with City and State officials to save the land and raise money to improve it. The park’s “birthday” is Sept. 16, 2006. The original benches and trees were installed by the team at Struever Bros. Eccles & Rouse (SBER) almost 2 decades ago. Now it’s time to give the park a face-lift. The CCA is raising funds for much needed new plantings, string lights, regular maintenance and possibly a new entrance sign.
