Bmore Cares Community Cooking Crews
Did you know there’s a free community fridge in SE Bmore? It is outside 123 N. Linwood and available to anyone who needs a meal. Our neighbor, Allie Marston, is championing the holiday cooking and donation project called Bmore Cares Community Cooking Crew (SE). If you are interested in helping, please visit this FB group to sign up to shop, cook, donate or transport. If you don’t cook and would like to donate groceries or even funds, that is helpful as well. If you have any questions, feel free to DM Allie, or if email is more your style: alliemarston@gmail.com. Thanks to all in advance!
Pratt Free Market

In the United States, 1 in every 8 people face hunger. Food insecurity affects 42 million people and impacts every county in America, and libraries are increasingly becoming more involved in helping to fight hunger in the communities they serve. The Pratt Free Market (PFM) aims to create a safe space for the community through food. Our goal is to help address the issue of food insecurity in Baltimore City and alleviate hunger in the local community. PFM will be a judgment-free, accessible, modern, and bright, FREE grocery store located at the Southeast Anchor Library. PFM will be stocked with produce, dry goods, paper goods, and more by generous local partners. The market will serve as a hub for food and nutrition based community programming.
