Canton Dog Park Yappier Hour
/In April, volunteers gathered to give the Canton Dog Park a refresh. Led by chair Jayne Miller they tidied up the park and replaced older, broken furniture with new chairs. And, thanks to one of our volunteers, they are addressing the fountain area on the big dog side so it doesn't so easily double as a muddy bath! Jayne says that during the cleanup a woman from out of town stopped to look at the park and said, "It is so much better than ours in Arlington, (Va)."
The Canton Dog Park is the oldest off-leash park in Baltimore. We rely on its users to keep it in good order. Thank you to everyone who participated in the clean-up. The park, located at 3221 Toone St., is open from dusk to dawn. For more info on this park and others in Canton, visit www.cantoncommunity.org/parks.
If you missed the clean up and want to show your support for the Canton Dog Park join us on the patio at Gunther & Company at 3650 Toone Street for Yappier Hour every Tuesday from 5:00-9:00 p.m. $2 from every Tito's cocktail will be donated to the Canton Dog Park!
