The volunteers at the Canton Dog Park would love your help. In case you didn’t know, the park, the first off-leash dog park in the city, is volunteer-run. Currently, they’re running a little low on waste bags. If you have extra bags and would like to donate, there is a dispenser on-site at the park where you can stuff your extras.

The CCA Canton History Project, led by Dr. Raymond Bahr, strives to illustrate the rich history of Canton. An important aspect of this project is to place Historic Interpretive Marker Signs in strategic places around in the neighborhood. Two such markers were placed by the previous Canton Improvement Association (CIA) at the Canton Library and in O’Donnell Square.

The meeting started at 6:35PM at the United Evangelical Church.   Mark Edelson, President, introduced himself as President and said it is an honor to serve.  He welcomed everyone.  As per tradition, he asked that if anyone was here for the first time, to please introduce themselves.  There were five new people, among them a woman from South Africa.
